About Me - John Tyler Warlick

Cinematographer - UE ARTIST
I was born in Florida in 2000 and was raised in North Carolina from 2003 until I was accepted into SCAD in 2019. As a child, I was admitted into the Boy Scouts of America where I became a fourth-generation Eagle Scout in 2015. Through middle and high school, I participated in the North Carolina STEM program where I graduated with STEM honors.

I started working in film during my Sophomore year of high school as a member of the North Carolina Technology Student Association (NCTSA) where I competed and won awards in digital video production competitions. After several years, I began to work on productions for the Concord Police Department to spread awareness on human trafficking, underage drinking, and driving under the influence.

I believe that through film we can spread awareness of social and economic issues, and inspire change that can improve the lives of all people, regardless of race, gender, sexuality, or nationality.
